In early 1997 I quit my comfy systems analyst job and began working online full time. As it turned out this was the best decision I have ever made.

Over the years I have taught myself the grand arts of design, programming, copywriting, scheming, branding, social engineering, trending, marketing, and more recently search optimization. These subjects continue to fascinate me. Mastering these skills was paramount to my early education and played a huge role in my understanding of building a business online.

Since those early days I have added some 50 odd domains to my empire where I have dominated such highly competitive niche’s as: spyware/virus removal, affiliate/seo tools, ebooks/info products, pharmaceuticals, educational products, entertainment, and many many different types of software. Winter in Canada soon became too much to bare so in 2002 my online businesses allowed me to move to Bangkok, Thailand where I divided my time between managing my web holdings, consulting privately, and of course hitting the beach ;)

Profitpapers is my best attempt to document some of the methods and strategies I use to etch out a successful living online. In your pajamas if you will. I tend to focus on open source software and the DIY approach to working online as this is the type of stuff that really appeals to me.
