Labour Day Links

I'm not even an American and I'm lazy on Labour Day. Here is what caught my eye today:
- I am still digesting much of the articles and discussion that arose about collective human intelligence with the launch of Google Image Labeler. A couple good ones are Tim O’Reilly’s Google Image Labeler: Bionic Software Strikes Again and his follow up Google Image Labeler, the ESP Game, and Human-Computer Symbiosis.
- Stuntdubl has posted 12 Easy Quality Indicators to Combine to Prove Trust. A handy list with some not so obvious tips.
- Michael Gray demystifies SEO Siloing although I have to admit I am still a bit confused.
- MarketingProfs has an interesting piece on Creating Branded Keywords and Driving their Search Demand Through Buzz.
- This is a few days old but I just noticed Shoemoney is posting every keyword your competition is bidding on in Adwords. I assume this is a bug in the Google Adwords API Beta, but hey I don’t know or I would be doing it too. Let’s hope he announces how it was done before Google catches this.
- Seth Godin reported over the weekend that Squidoo has reached over 1 million users/month and is now hiring. He also has a great article published today on really juicing up the interview process.
- Sadly predictable is Pornotube breaking into Alexa's top 300 within only 2 months.
- And finally for a laugh check out xkcd (pictured above), a really over the top geek humor comic syndicated with a creative commons license.
And with that I am back to my own private marathon of the original Twilight Zone series in recognition of another day cut off from real American holiday TV. Enjoy it.
