Saturday Linkfest

There has been a ton of great stuff being posted around the blogosphere (ick I said it!) as October kicks off. As I was vacationing in Sin City (Pattaya) I missed a bunch of it. Here is a recap of a few of the worth readings from the first week of October:
- Google launched an unbranded search widget at searchmash.com. This seemed like good news for me as I had finally secured the domain youmash a few days before for my upcoming social feed aggregator. Feel free to sign up for the beta. Shameless plug out.
- Matt Cutts spills a bunch of good information about PageRank (again). Matt is _the only_ source I take any PR discussion from seriously. Read it.
- Mike Grehan (how are you Mike?) demystifies Latent Symantic Indexing (LSI) on Clickz.
- Although it has been covered at nausium SEOBlackhat has a decent piece on 10 steps to making the digg front page and I saw Rand countered with Why it doesn’t pay to game digg.
- 18 Questions your CEO forgot to ask when building your website via Todd at Stuntdubl is a must read for any wannabe project engineers.
- In case you haven’t noticed I’m really into cartoons and comic style art. I found a great Photoshop tutorial for turning any photo into a Lichtenstein like pop art image.
- CNN has a good article and interview with 22 year old Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Enjoy the weekend =)
