Seth Godin and Sergey Brin Videos
Posted by Miles Evans

I spent most of the day hunting down some good marketing media on Google Video. I guess it goes without saying that it's really freaking easy to waste a day on Google Video but I did find some gems on topic...
I just put down Seth Godin’s All Marketers are Liars and was really impressed. I have read everything this guy has put out and I will tell you that his opinions on branding and marketing are inspirational. Hungry for more I came across the Seth Godin video (48 mins) at Googleplex on Mar 2nd, where he goes over some really cool stuff concerning big G’s branding genius and other cool subjects. A must see for anyone even remotely interested in marketing or Google.
Also interesting for Google watchers is an Analysts Day event held recently in which Google discusses its plans for the GDrive and other 2006 goals. You can catch the original webcast from Mar 2nd here. Here is a copy of the 94 slide Google power point presentation that went with the lecture (warning: The file is 20mb). For a good analysis of the event take a look at Greg Linden’s blog.
Last but not least I was digging around and found the Sergey Brin video (34 mins) from his lecture from the UC Berkeley course Search Engines: Technology, Society, and Business. The lecture is a bit dry in spots but there is some really interesting Q&A where Brin covers China and some specific algorithm comments.
