Free .INFO Domains & Some Blather
Posted by Miles Evans

I noticed 1and1 is giving away .info domains again but this time is one upping dotster by including private registration. So all you black hat bastages can stock up I guess. Actually I shouldn’t say that. I am conducting a fairly brilliant and profitable way to use .info domains (which carry less weight in Google I believe) that I will be writing about here soon. The experiment is in progress so the results will take a few weeks or more to process. Anyways stock up while you can as this will likely not last long – they don’t seem to mention when the deal ends.
Okay... I just got back to Thailand from two seriously harrowing days of speed shopping in Shanghai. Is there anything that cannot be pirated in China? These guys put the rest of Asia to shame. You gotta dig the ingenuity – in fact some of this stuff is better quality than the original product. I think me and the wife picked up an entirely new wardrobe for under a c-note a piece. Oh, before I forget - I want to quickly thank some folks:
Mr. Proven Bau CEO of Yonkr & the amazing translator he provided me in handsome young Ryan Wong. We operated some pretty covert bargaining techniques. This dude has charms.
Also big ups to Mirina Bau and her friends for just being cool, Mattiew Fan for translations, T.R. Harrington for scaring the hell out of me, Brooke (forget last name) for being California cool, Alan Flesher for teaching me the Shanghai subway, and of course Inway Ni and associates for making this all possible. You guys all rock.
Oh and Jillian Redford, the manager of Nanjing’s Red Club night spot - thanks for the stress relief and putting up with my whiskey fueled craziness last Friday night. I hope I didn’t scare you girly.
Here is my first round of photos from a day out in Nanjing. Ryan Wong is the master photographer.
Alright I am exhausted. Check back tomorrow for some more SES China stuff and maybe some video if I can figure out Adobe Premiere without too much stress.
We miss you China. All your Divx are belong to MPAA.
