Google Pagerank Update

I thought I would wait to post this as fluctuations often occur but there appears to be an official PR and backlink update happening for many Google data centers. Threads are happening at all the major forums with reports of Pagerank changes, backlink changes (the number of people linking to you), or none of the above.
Most people do not give much credence to PR as an overly valuable metric, myself included, but I guess it’s nice to finally have a visible backlinks update. I notice changes across all my domains on these data centers:
I'm sure this will spread across all DCs pretty quick including mine in Thailand, which traditionally seems to be rather slow.
