Some SES 2006 Coverage
Posted by Miles Evans

A friend from Washington, DC arrived unexpectedly tonight in need of some Bangkok nightlife so this will be a quick post. Dave is a gourmet tea distributor here in Thailand specializing in therapeutic and specialty teas from the region. I recently replaced my daily work bevy of Snapple & Sprite with Dave’s gourmet tea and I feel much better for it. Shameless plug out.
Ok back to business. Matt Cutts has some great SES coverage - as he should he was speaker no? From the Barry Diller interview :
Barry did a solid job of covering the session, but it was a bit of a “you had to be there” session. I gently teased Scoble because some versions of IE7 didn’t have a Google search option built-in, and the instruction manual showed you how to add (AOL? Ask? Yahoo?) but not Google. On the other hand, Scoble gave props to Google on mobile phones and for several other things, so everybody got along and nobody had hurt feelings.
Matt has some other great info on Google video, del.icio.us, and some hints at tips to come.
Randfish also has Diller coverage as well as an SEO Basics paper he was handing out at the conference.
For any other information you may as well head straight to the source via Danny Sullivan’s Search Engine Watch page. These are the organizers behind the event.
See you guys tomorrow…
BEER!
