I use a lot of different tools for different tasks and I spend alot of time flipping between things like Digitalpoints Keyword Suggestion Tool, Overtures Bid Tool, and The Google Sandbox and main search results. You are probabely using these exact same tools for your keyword research. Now imagine if you could have all these tools in 1 great looking program with colorful charts, graphs, and export features? That is what Adwords Equalizer is and it has literally saved me hours of time and thousands of dollars in mistakes and wasted effort. The Google copyright cops are quite relentless. I guess you cannot really blame them.
